La rana golia (o Conraua goliath) è una specie molto grande che vive nelle foreste pluviali africane di Camerun e Guinea Equatoriale, soprattutto nei fiumi e ruscelli con forti correnti. Il colore può variare da verde a marrone, con ventre più chiaro, occhi grandi e gialli e potrebbe avere anche dei bozzi increspati sulla pelle. Il maschio è più grande della femmina, pesa tra i 0,6 e i 3 chili e può raggiungere una grandezza compresa tra i 17 e i 30 centimetri. Questa specie è a rischio d'estinzione perché viene cacciata per essere mangiata, per essere esposta come trofeo e per il commercio di animali.
