Die Mexikanische Rotknie-Vogelspinne (Brachypelma hamorii) ist eine Spinne, die im Buschland, in den Wüsten und Wäldern Mexikos beheimatet ist. Sie hat einen schwarzen Körper und schwarze Beine, orange-rötliche Gelenke und wie alle Vogelspinnen ist ihr Körper mit Sinnenshaaren bewachsen. Die Spinne erreicht eine Länge von ungefähr zehn Zentimetern und eine Beinspanne von 15 Zentimetern. Sie ist nachtaktiv und lebt während des Tages in Höhlen, während sie in der Nacht nach Beute wie Insekten, kleinen Amphibien und kleinen Säugetieren jagt.
