Das Große Wandelnde Blatt ist eine große Insektenart, die im tropischen Regenwald Westmalaysias heimisch ist. Diese Spezies ist außergewöhnlich gut getarnt. Wie ihr Name bereits vermuten lässt, kann man es kaum von den Blättern der Bäume unterscheiden, in denen es lebt. Die Weibchen sind 12 Zentimeter lang, breit und flach und verfügen über kleine Flügelrudimente, sind allerdings flugunfähig. Die Männchen sind etwa 9 Zentimeter lang und wesentlich schlanker. Sie haben lange Flügel und sind flugfähig.
