グリーンイグアナ (Iguana iguana) は、中米全域、南米北部、カリブ海地域に生息する大型のトカゲ種である。長い尻尾があり、たてがみ状のギザギザした鱗が頭部から背骨の付け根まで続いている。また、長い爪先と爪のある筋肉質の脚も特徴である。また、尻尾と身体に縞模様が入っているものもいる。
