Il varano del Nilo (o Varanus niloticus) è una grande specie di rettile che vive nelle zone non desertiche dell'Africa subsahariana. È stato introdotto anche negli Stati Uniti, nello specifico in California e Florida, dove è considerato una specie invasiva.
