Il mandrillo (o Mandrillus sphinx) รจ una grande scimmia che vive nelle foreste pluviali e negli altopiani di Camerun, Gabon, Guinea Equatoriale e Congo. Ha una pelliccia grigio scuro, la pancia bianca e una colorazione caratteristica sul volto: una lunga striscia rosa che arriva fino in mezzo alle narici, con dei cuscinetti blu ai lati. Ha anche una barbetta gialla.
