L'iguana dai tubercoli (o Iguana iguana) è una grande specie di lucertola che vive nell'America centrale, del nord e del sud e ai Caraibi. Ha una lunga coda, una cresta seghettata che parte dalla testa e arriva fino alla base della colonna vertebrale e zampe muscolose con grandi dita e artigli. Può avere delle striature sulla coda e sul corpo.
