Il fenicottero rosa (o Phoenicopterus roseus) è una grande specie di uccello migratore molto diffuso in Europa, Medio Oriente, Asia e Africa. Vive in terreni fangosi e lagune costiere in ambienti miti ed è un animale filtratore che usa il becco per smuovere il fango e filtrare alghe, invertebrati e semi.
