Il babirussa di Sulawesi è una specie di suino originario dell'isola indonesiana di Sulawesi e di altre piccole isole vicine. Il babirussa di Sulawesi è quasi completamente glabro e ha la pelle grigia. I maschi hanno quattro grandi zanne che si ripiegano verso il cranio. Il babirussa di Sulawesi ha una lunghezza compresa tra gli 85 e i 110 centimetri e un'altezza al garrese tra i 58 e gli 66 centimetri; la coda misura tra i 29 e i 32 centimetri. I maschi pesano tra i 70 e i 100 chili, mentre le femmine pesano tra i 45 e gli 80 chili.

The male babirusas tusks continue to grow throughout his life and can even grow into the skull.
