Der Nebelparder ist eine mittelgroße, baumlebende Katze, die in den Wäldern und Grasländern Südostasiens heimisch ist. Er hat ein gelb-graues Fell das von großen, schwarzen, netzförmigen Ringen bedeckt ist. Kopf, Beine und Schwanz weisen schwarze Flecken und Streifen auf. Nebelparder sind zwischen 69 und 108 Zentimeter lang, bei einer Schwanzlänge von 61-91 Zentimetern. Die Männchen sind größer als die Weibchen. Nebelparder wiegen zwischen elf und 23 Kilogramm.
