Der Brauen-Glattstirnkaiman ist eine kleine Krokodilart, die in den Flüssen und Sümpfen Südamerikas heimisch ist. Ihr Aussehen verändert sich im Laufe ihres Lebens. Sie haben weit hervorstehende, braune (manchmal auch gelbe) Augen. Die Männchen werden zwischen 1,30 und 1,50 m lang, Weibchen erreichen eine Größe von etwa 1,15 m. In der Regel wiegen sie zwischen sechs und sieben Kilo.
