De Bennettwallaby (of Notamacropus rufogriseus) is een middelgroot buideldier uit oostelijk Australië en Tasmanië. De Bennettwallaby behoort tot de familie van de kangoeroes en heeft dan ook de kenmerkende grote, gespierde achterpoten en staart, relatief kleine voorpoten, grote oren en een stompe snuit. De Bennettwallaby heeft een grijze vacht met een roodbruine ondertoon en een lichtere onderkant. De vacht op de toppen van de oren, rond de neus en op de uiteinden van de poten is zwart. De soort is seksueel dimorf: de mannetjes zijn groter dan de vrouwtjes. Mannelijke Bennettwallaby's zijn 76 tot 93 cm lang, waarbij de staart nog eens 69 tot 88 cm extra toevoegt, en ze wegen tussen de 15 en 26,8 kg. Vrouwtjes zijn tussen de 66 tot 80 cm groot, plus een staart van 62 tot 78 cm, en ze wegen 11 tot 15,5 kg.
