골리앗개구리(Conraua goliath)는 카메룬과 적도 기니의 아프리카 열대 우림 중에서도 특히 유속이 빠른 강과 개울에 서식하는 매우 거대한 종입니다. 색깔은 녹색부터 진한 갈색까지 다양하며 아랫배는 색이 더 옅습니다. 커다란 노란색 눈을 가졌고, 피부에는 작고 오돌토돌한 혹이 있는 경우도 있습니다. 수컷은 암컷보다 크며 무게는 0.6~3kg에 길이는 17~30cm입니다. 현재 식용과 기념물, 애완동물 거래를 위한 남획으로 멸종 위기에 처해 있습니다.
