ラマ (Lama glama) は、南米西部の山や草原に生息するラクダ科の動物である。エクアドル、ペルー、ボリビア、チリ、アルゼンチン原産で、高品質の毛がとれるため世界中で家畜として飼育される。飼いならされた動物であり、家畜として人間と一緒に 4000 年生きてきた。長い首、長い脚、厚い毛で覆われたずんぐりした体で、白、黄褐色、まだら、黒、灰色などの色をしている。オス、メスともに体高 1.6～1.8 m、体長 92～160 cm、体重 130～200 kg である。
