ドールシープ (Ovis dalli) はドールビッグホーンとも呼ばれる野生のヒツジで、アラスカ州 (アメリカ) や、ユーコン準州およびブリティッシュコロンビア州 (カナダ) の山岳草原地帯に生息している。体色は白から薄茶色で、黄土色のツノが生えている。性的二形で、オスはメスよりもはるかに大きく、ツノも太くてぐるりとねじれている。オスは体長 1.3～1.8 m、体重 73～113 kg であるのに対し、メスは体長 1.3～1.6 m、体重 46～50 kg 程度。
