タイタンオオウスバカミキリ (Titanus giganteus) は、南米の熱帯雨林に生息する極めて大きな種である。大きな腹部は赤茶と黒、脚と触角と胸部は黒、そして茶色い翅脈が走る淡い色の羽。頑丈な大あごは小枝を噛み切るほど強い。オスもメスも羽を持っているが、飛べるのはオスだけである。他の多くの種と同様、現在進行中の熱帯雨林破壊により故郷を追われつつある。
