アムールトラ (Panthera tigris altaica) は別名シベリアトラとも呼ばれ、猫科では最大の動物である。黄褐色の毛皮に細く黒の縞模様があり、腹部には淡い下毛が生えている。頭はとても大きく、顎には巨大な牙がある。
