ヨロイモグラゴキブリ (Macropanesthia rhinoceros) は、オーストラリア北部の低木地と乾燥林に生息する大型の昆虫である。長さ約 8 cm、重さは 30 gで、濃い赤褐色の体をしている。砂地に穴を掘る習性から名付けられており、しばしば地下 1 m まで掘り進むこともある。手間がかからない点と、持ち上げたときの反応の面白さで、人気のペットとなっている。
