La tarantola messicana ginocchia rosse (o Brachypelma hamorii) è una specie di ragno che vive nella macchia, nei deserti e nelle foreste del Messico. Ha corpo e zampe nere, le articolazioni rosse o arancioni e, come tutte le tarantole, ha il corpo ricoperto da peli sensibili. Misura circa 10 centimetri, mentre le zampe arrivano a 15 centimetri. È una specie notturna che vive nella tana durante il giorno e di notte esce per andare a caccia. Si ciba di insetti, piccoli anfibi e piccoli mammiferi.
