Los lobos árticos (o Canis lupus arctos) son una gran especie de cánidos que vive en el norte de Canadá y en Groenlandia. Estos enormes depredadores, también conocidos como lobos blancos, cazan en manada y sus principales presas son los bueyes almizcleros y las liebres árticas, aunque también se alimentan de zorros, pájaros, oseznos y, ocasionalmente, de carroña.
