Now that both of the Fleet Carriers Betas have come to an end, we'd like extend a huge thank you to all of the Commanders who took the time to jump in, whether that was on PC, PlayStation or Xbox. All the invaluable feedback that you've shared with us both here, on the forums, across social media and in videos and round-ups, has been incredibly important towards the development of Fleet Carriers.

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be introducing a number of changes to Fleet Carriers in time for their release in June:

The Fleet Carriers Update Beta begins today at 11:00 (UTC)!

Although the Beta will run much like the real game, we ask that you focus on testing all the changes, along with your standard gameplay, to ensure the stability of the build. This will help us to identify and find ways to fix as many issues as possible before the update goes live.

We're thrilled to announce that the first look at the upcoming Fleet Carrier update will be coming to your screens on Thursday, 2 April! Lead Server Developer, Dav Stott, and Game Designer, Luke Betterton, will join us on a special video to talk us through what these vast vessels are and how they'll be shaking up the galaxy!

It feels like only yesterday that we were celebrating 35 years of Elite, and today is call for another celebration... the 5th anniversary of Elite Dangerous. Since the launch of the Kickstarter, we've seen Commanders across PC, PlayStation and Xbox come together to blaze their trails across the Milky Way.
