At the core of our culture, we embrace a fun, collaborative spirit that has carried us through the challenges of videogame development. We are passionate about making world-class games and growing our friendly, authentic Studio here in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Life

Winnipeg is a quirky, culturally diverse, four-season city with something for everyone. It is vibrant with color, character, early 20th-century architecture as well as year-round cultural festivals.

As we are located in the center of the continent, we get a lot of brightness and sunlight even in the wintertime.

Why Frontier

At Frontier, we believe that authentic games last a lifetime. In order for us to create our ever-evolving portfolio of games, we need talented and creative people in our teams!

We are committed to providing:

Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel, one of the Product Managers at Frontier Developments.

Each Product Manager takes care of a specific game or brand from a marketing perspective. The game I take care of is Planet Zoo!

Being a Product Manager encompasses many things, including defining a marketing strategy and plan, preparing the briefs for the main marketing assets (including the trailers and key-art), managing the marketing partnerships, and of course overseeing the rolling out of the campaign and making sure everything goes according to plan.

Sally

Hi! I’m Sally and I’m a Community Manager here at Frontier.

As part of the Community Team I help to tap into the best interests of our player base, which in turn holds an element of support for our incredible development teams with the future planning of our fun and exciting titles. As a team we also take pride in building personable relationships with our players too, by means of live streams and social media engagement. A hub of hype and readiness!

George

Hello - I'm George. I sit on the Digital team and primarily oversee the paid social strategy across our games, ensuring they get in front of the right audiences, and drive revenue and community growth. I started at Frontier right before the pandemic hit and despite the challenges faced I've never been more excited to have worked with some fantastic titles in my time here, and with many exciting projects on the horizon. I work closely with the wider Publishing team to amplify key beats and co-ordinate cool campaigns in the lead up to launches and beyond.

Mike

Hi there! I'm Mike, and I'm the Head of Monetisation here at Frontier Developments. As part of the Commercial Team, my team and I help plan commercial strategy such as pre-order incentives, special editions and PDLC, as well as advising and assisting with our larger publishing agenda for our internal titles as well as Frontier Foundry projects.

Aaron

Hi! I’m Aaron, one of the UI Designers here at Frontier. I work as part of a team of UI designers and developers. We work closely with the game designers to create all the UI/UX flows needed to bring game features to life. Our goal is to develop the best possible user experience, all whilst maintaining visual consistency that fits the art direction of the project.

Sandra

Hi! I’m Sandra, a UI developer. The thing I enjoy the most about my day-to-day is the variety of challenges that this role offers. Styles logic is not the same as navigation, neither is getting data to display, and so on. You get to tinker with varied systems and work closely with many different people from other disciplines, including UI designers and gameplay programmers, but also game designers, audio, QA etc.
