Vanguard-Raptors – Hurricane

A well-defended unit of Vanguard-Raptors armed with Hurricane Crossbows can eviscerate an enemy assault before it reaches your lines. Leave these crossbowmen unprotected, however, and the enemy will cut them down quickly in melee combat.

• This unit cannot fire on the move, so stop them and set up a firing position if they encounter an enemy unit.
• Beware enemies flanking the Vanguard-Raptors’ firing arc and closing into melee combat. 
• There is a delay between ordering your Vanguard-Raptors to launch their Rapid Fire volley and the bolts landing. Target the ground ahead of a moving enemy so the volley hits its mark.
