What Craventhrone Guard lack in firepower, they make up for in numbers. These cheap, fast-moving crossbowmen can easily overwhelm enemies locked in combat with melee troops.
- The Spectral Bolts ability lets you pepper targets at range, dealing damage and reducing victims’ armour.
- The Wave of Terror upgrade increases Craventhrone Guard Ranged attack speed, significantly increasing their damage output when clustered with allies. You can ratchet this up even further with the Rain of Death upgrade, which increases the maximum unit size.
- Craventhrone Guard are only effective at range, so keep them at the back of a battle and beware of enemy units engaging them in hand-to-hand combat.
