Der Isabellbär (Ursus arctos isabellinus) ist eine Unterart des Braunbären, die in den Bergen Afghanistans, Pakistans, Nordindiens, Westchinas, Nepals, Kasachstans und Tibets lebt. Er ist äußerst selten und vom Aussterben bedroht. Es ist unbekannt, wie viele Exemplare noch in freier Wildbahn vorkommen, doch sie sind vielen Gefahren ausgesetzt. Dazu gehören Habitatfragmentierung durch menschliche Siedlungen sowie Wilderei, um an ihr Fell und andere Körperteile zu gelangen.
