大羊駝 (Lama glama) 是原生於南美洲西部山區和草原的駱駝科動物。大羊駝的天然棲息地分佈於厄瓜多、秘魯、玻利維亞、智利和阿根廷，後來由於能夠產出品質優良的毛料而被引進世界各地。牠們是可馴養的動物，作為人類的牲畜和馱獸已有 4000 年之久。大羊駝有修長的脖子和四肢，結實的身體上長有厚實蓬亂的毛，有白色、棕色、花斑、黑色或灰色等多種毛色。兩性皆為 1.6 至 1.8 公尺高，體長 92 至 160 公分，體重則在 130 至 200 公斤之間。
