褐喉樹懶 (Bradypus variegatus) 是生活在中美洲和南美洲雨林中的樹棲哺乳類動物。毛色是灰白色到棕色，有著瘦長的四肢，手臂比腿長，並有退化的短尾巴。手腳上有三個長爪，不過前爪明顯較長。褐喉樹懶有圓圓的頭，耳朵不明顯，雙眼到頭的側邊有深棕色的紋路。雄性和雌性看起來大致一樣，唯一的區別是雄性背上有明顯的花紋。牠們身長平均 60 公分，體重為 3.5 公斤至 5.2 公斤。
