白掌長臂猿 (Hylobates lar) 是生活在印尼、寮國、馬來西亞、緬甸和泰國雨林中的靈長類動物。這種動物毛色多樣，從深棕色到薑黃色、棕色或奶油色皆有。臉部為黑色，周圍有獨特的白色毛圈。手和腳也是白色的。雄性和雌性的白掌長臂猿長得一樣，頭部加身體的長度是 42 公分至 59 公分，體重在 4 公斤至 7.6 公斤之間。
