長鼻猴是棲息在婆羅洲 (印尼、馬來西亞與汶萊) 雨林、紅樹林和沼澤森林的靈長類動物。牠們背上與頭頂的毛色為深橘色，胸腹與上臂為淺橘色，而下半身、雙腳與前臂為灰色。雄性擁有會垂至嘴唇位置的獨特長鼻。雌性沒有這麼明顯的長鼻子，但以靈長類來說牠們的鼻子仍十分突出。雄性與雌性長鼻猴的體型有所差異，雄性平均約 66 至 76 公分高，重約 16 至 22.5 公斤；而雌性約 53 至 62 公分高，重 7 至 12 公斤。
