國王企鵝 (Aptenodytes patagonicus patagonicus) 是一種大型海生鳥類，棲息在南冰洋，於福克蘭群島與南喬治亞島等亞南極地區的島嶼繁殖。國王企鵝的背部與腳蹼有深灰色的羽毛，胸腹部有白色羽毛，其喉部為黃色，頭部則是黑色，臉頰帶有亮橘色斑塊，喙嘴上也有一道橘色。國王企鵝站立時的身高介於 70 到 100 公分之間，體重平均 9 到 14 公斤，是體型第二大的企鵝，僅小於皇帝企鵝。
