澳洲野犬 (Canis lupus dingo) 也稱丁格犬，是一種棲息地遍佈整個澳洲的大型犬科動物。澳洲野犬有淺棕色的毛皮，白色的腹部，尖尖的耳朵和長而扁平的口鼻，身型纖瘦，平均身高在 52 至 60 公分之間，身長在 1.2 至 1.5 公尺之間。牠們的重量約在 14 至 19 公斤之間，雄犬體型比雌犬略大。牠們會伺機狩獵，也是食腐動物，所以牠們的食物多種多樣，包含哺乳類、鳥類、爬蟲類、腐肉、水果和蔬菜。

Interbreeding with domestic dogs has resulted in unusual colours of dingoes, such as black or white individuals.
