索马里野驴
角蝰 (Cerastes cerastes) 是一种毒蛇，原生于北非和中东的沙漠和半沙漠地区，也被称为沙漠角蝰。角蝰的身体呈沙色，腹部颜色通常较浅，鳞片上有时会有些许深棕色的花纹，可充当保护色。它的头部较大且呈三角形，最显眼的特征是双眼上方的尖角，角蝰之名也由此而来。雄角蝰和雌角蝰差异不大，只是雌角蝰的体型通常会稍微大一点。它们的身长在 30 厘米到 60 厘米之间不等。
索马里野驴
索马里野驴 (Equus africanus somaliensis) 是非洲野驴的亚种，属于马科物种，栖息于索马里、吉布提、苏丹、埃塞俄比亚与厄立特里亚的沙漠和半沙漠地区。它有灰色皮毛、浅色腹部，以及带着黑色细条纹的白腿。它身上硬挺鬃毛的尖端是黑的，耳朵有黑边，尾巴也有黑色末梢。它的口鼻部较白，但嘴巴和鼻子周围也可能呈灰黑色。雄驴和雌驴差异不大：一般的肩高都介于 1.20 米到 1.45 米，体长为 2 米到 2.40 米，体重为 225 公斤到 335 公斤。
沙漠猫
沙漠猫 (Felis margarita) 是一种小型的野生猫科动物，原生于北非、中东和中亚的沙漠。它长了一身厚厚的沙色毛皮，整个背部、腿部和尾巴上都有深色的细条纹。沙漠猫的脸圆圆的，上头有深色的条状斑纹、大耳朵和黄眼睛。雄猫和雌猫的外观类似，肩高 24 厘米到 36 厘米，身长 39 厘米到 52 厘米，尾长 23 厘米到 31 厘米。雄沙漠猫的体重为 2.1 公斤到 3.4 公斤，雌猫则稍微较轻，体重为 1.4 公斤到 3.1 公斤。
