大羊驼 (Lama glama) 是原生于南美洲西部山区和草原的骆驼科动物。大羊驼的天然栖息地分布于厄瓜多尔、秘鲁、玻利维亚、智利和阿根廷，后来由于能够产出质量优良的毛料而被引进世界各地。它们是可驯养的动物，作为人类的牲畜和驮兽已有 4,000 年之久。大羊驼有修长的脖子和四肢，结实的身体上长有厚实蓬乱的毛，有白色、棕色、花斑、黑色或灰色等多种毛色。两性皆为 1.6 至 1.8 米高，体长 92 至 160 厘米，体重则在 130 至 200 公斤之间。
