白掌长臂猿 (Hylobates lar) 是生活在印度尼西亚、老挝、马来西亚、缅甸和泰国雨林中的灵长类动物。这种动物毛色多样，从深棕色到姜黄色、棕色或奶油色皆有。脸部为黑色，周围有独特的白色毛圈。手和脚也是白色的。雄性和雌性的白掌长臂猿长得一样，头部加身体的长度是 42 厘米至 59 厘米，体重在 4 公斤至 7.6 公斤之间。
