科莫多巨蜥 (Varanus komodoensis) 是栖息于印度尼西亚的科莫多岛、林卡岛、弗洛勒斯岛和吉利莫坦岛的大型爬行类动物。它们外表呈深绿褐色，四肢粗壮，还有一张大嘴巴、健壮的长尾巴，以及分叉的黄色舌头。雄性科莫多巨蜥平均体长达到 259 厘米，体重多在 79 到 91 公斤，雌性体型较小，平均体长为 229 厘米，体重在 68 到 73 公斤之间。
