中美貘 (Tapirus bairdii) 是濒危的哺乳类动物，原生于中美洲的林地。中美貘是五种貘之一，其他四种生活在中美洲或南美洲。雄性和雌性的体型相似，但雌性略大，两者都有介于深棕色和黑色之间的毛皮，完全成年后下巴和胸部则会呈灰白色。幼貘身上则有白色的斑点和条纹，这样的花纹能在它们光影斑驳的林中栖地提供良好的伪装效果。
