羱羊 (Capra Ibex) 是原生于意大利、法国、德国、瑞士、奥地利与斯洛文尼亚等地之阿尔卑斯山区的巨型山羊。其厚实的毛皮全身均为棕色，腹部颜色较浅而腿部与尾巴颜色较深。羱羊长有向身后弯曲的多脊大角。雄性的体型较雌性大，体重也较重。角约 69 至 98 厘米，身长 1.49 至 1.71 米，高 0.9 至 1.05 米，重 80 公斤至 100 公斤。雌羱羊角约 18 至 35 厘米，身长 1.21 至 1.41 米，高 0.73 至 0.84 米，体重仅介于 17 至 32 公斤之间。
