Красноглазая квакша — это древесная амфибия, обитающая в тропических лесах Центральной Америки. Самки крупнее самцов, но у представителей обоих полов одинаковый окрас. Как можно догадаться по названию, у красноглазой квакши ярко-красные глаза с чёрными зрачками. Верхняя часть тела и передние лапы у лягушки бледно-зелёные, что обеспечивает ей отличную маскировку: когда она сворачивается и закрывает глаза, её практически невозможно различить среди листьев, где она и живёт. У красноглазых квакш ярко-голубые бока с жёлтым сетчатым узором и синие бёдра. У них оранжевые пальцы и бледный живот.
