Окапи (Okapia johnstoni) — скрытное животное, обитающее в густых лесах Демократической Республики Конго. Внешность у окапи очень выразительная: серо-белая морда, тёмная шерсть на теле и белые полоски на лапах и бёдрах. У самцов два коротких рога, у самок на том же месте — небольшая грива. У обоих полов рост в холке в среднем составляет от 1,4 до 1,6 м, а длина тела — от 2,4 до 2,6 м.
