Мексиканский красноколенный птицеед (Brachypelma hamorii) — вид паука, обитающий в степях, пустынях и лесах Мексики. У него чёрные тело и ноги, тогда как суставы окрашены в оранжево-красный цвет. Как и у всех тарантулов, тело этого птицееда покрыто чувствительными волосками. В длину эти пауки достигают 10 см, а размах их ног может составлять до 15 см. Красноколенный птицеед ведёт ночной образ жизни: днём он прячется в норе, а ночами выходит на охоту. Он питается насекомыми, небольшими амфибиями и мелкими млекопитающими.
