Одомашненные двугорбые верблюды (Camelus bactrianus) — крупные копытные, обитающие в Центральной Азии. У них два горба и толстая шкура, покрытая мехом песочного цвета (впрочем, также встречаются тёмно-коричневые и белые особи). Двугорбые верблюды достигают роста в 2 метра в холке без учёта горбов (они добавляют ещё 30 см), при этом самцы значительно крупнее самок.
