Носачи — это вид приматов, обитающий в тропических лесах, мангровых зарослях и болотистых лесах острова Борнео (Индонезия, Малайзия и Бруней). У этих обезьян тёмно-оранжевый мех на спине и макушке, бледно-оранжевый мех на груди, животе и плечах и серый мех — в нижней части тела, на ногах и руках. У самцов имеется ярко выраженный нос, свисающий над губой. У самок носы не такие большие, хотя они всё равно остаются ярко выраженными для приматов. Самцы отличаются по размеру от самок: рост самцов составляет 66–76 см, а вес — 16–22,5 кг, у самок же рост варьируется от 53 до 62 см, а вес — от 7 до 12 кг.
