Гигантские листовидки — это вид больших насекомых, обитающий в западных тропических лесах Малайзии. Эти насекомые — настоящие мастера маскировки. Как следует из названия, гигантская листовидка может сливаться с листьями на деревьях, на которых живёт. Длина тела у самок составляет 12 см; у них широкое плоское тело и небольшие рудиментарные крылья, которые не позволяют им летать. У самцов тело короче (9 см) и значительно уже; кроме того, они обладают длинными крыльями и умеют летать.
