A babirussa-das-celebes-do-norte é uma espécie de porco nativa da ilha de Celebes, na Indonésia, e de várias ilhas próximas. É um animal de pele cinza, quase sem pelos. O macho da espécie tem quatro presas que se curvam em direção ao próprio crânio. O corpo tem um comprimento de 85 a 110 cm, contando com a cabeça; o rabo mede de 29 a 32 cm. Das patas à cernelha, a altura é de 58 a 66 cm. Os machos pesam em torno de 70 a 100 kg, enquanto as fêmeas pesam de 45 a 80 kg.

The male babirusas tusks continue to grow throughout his life and can even grow into the skull.
