흰머리카푸친 원숭이(Cebus capucinus)는 콜롬비아, 파나마, 에콰도르의 숲에 서식하는 수목 영장류입니다. 카푸친은 11종이 있으며 그외 많은 아종이 있습니다. 흰머리카푸친은 검은색 털이 난 몸과 어깨, 가슴 윗부분, 얼굴 주변에 난 특징적인 흰색털로 구분할 수 있습니다. 또한 머리 윗부분에 '모자'처럼 검은 털이 났으며 털이 드문드문 난 연분홍빛 얼굴에 갈색 눈이 정면을 보고 자리했습니다. 흰머리카푸친의 크기는 몸길이 33~45cm, 꼬리 길이 35~55cm, 몸무게 1.5~4kg 정도입니다. 수컷이 암컷보다 덩치가 더 크고 무거운 편입니다.
