눈표범(Panthera uncia)은 흰색에서 회색 사이의 색을 띤 털과 몸 전체의 검은 점, 얼굴의 검은 반점으로 식별할 수 있으며 네팔, 티벳, 북부 인도, 남부 시베리아, 파키스탄, 부탄, 몽골에 삽니다. 그들은 모피가 아주 두껍고 단열이 잘 되기 때문에 -25ºC의 기온도 문제없이 견딜 수 있습니다. 그들은 주로 야생 염소와 양을 먹는데, 새와 설치류도 잡아먹곤 합니다.
