'큰 외뿔 코뿔소'로 불리기도 하는 인도코뿔소(Rhinoceros unicornis)는 인도 북부의 강 유역, 네팔, 부탄에 자생하는 대형 초식 유제류입니다. 이 종은 짧고 두꺼운 뿔과 갈색 빛 나는 회색의 울퉁불퉁한 피부를 지녔으며, 종종 갑옷을 입은 것 같다고 묘사됩니다. 수컷 코뿔소는 암컷보다 커서 수컷은 평균 1600kg에 3.2m고, 암컷은 평균 2100kg에 3.7m입니다. 수컷은 더 암컷보다 더 클 뿐만 아니라 목에 큰 주름이 있어서 쉽게 알아볼 수 있습니다.
