녹색이구아나(Iguana iguana)는 중앙 아메리카와 남아메리카 북부, 카리브 해 전역에 서식하는 거대한 도마뱀 종입니다. 톱니 형태의 장식이 달린 긴 꼬리가 머리부터 척추 기저부까지 이어지며, 근육질의 다리에는 긴 발가락과 발톱이 달려 있습니다. 꼬리와 몸에 줄무늬가 있는 경우도 있습니다.
