귀천산갑(Manis pentadactyla)은 인도와 네팔, 부탄, 방글라데시, 미얀마, 대만, 중국 남부에 서식하는 식충 동물로, 현재 멸종 위기에 처해 있습니다. 작고 느리게 움직이며 성격이 비밀스러운 그들의 가장 두드러지는 특징은 층을 이루는 갑옷 같은 각질 비늘입니다. 귀천산갑은 길이가 40~58cm이고 꼬리는 25~38cm입니다. 그들은 낮에는 집에서 잠을 자고, 밤에는 개미와 흰개미, 다른 곤충을 찾아다닙니다.
