아메리카들소(Bison bison bison)는 미국과 캐나다에서 자생하는 거대한 발굽 동물입니다. 들소는 거대한 머리와 어깨 혹, 앞쪽의 1/4 부분이 모두 텁수룩한 털로 덮인 특징을 가집니다. 뒤쪽의 1/4 부분은 비교적 근육이 적고 털이 얇습니다. 암수 모두 뿔이 달렸고 크기가 비슷하지만, 수컷은 근육량이 많아 더 무겁습니다.
